Rome....The Eternal City

So if you follow me on twitter, you will know I recently turned 21. I decided for my 21st to go to Rome. I have always wanted to go. However it wasn’t the easiest holiday. When we arrived in Rome airport we waited nearly an hour for our bags and then after an hour of waiting someone told us that the baggage handling people were on strike and that we wouldn’t be getting our bags till six o'clock that day. We received our bags the morning we were leaving. So throughout the whole trip we had no luggage and no clean clothes, no makeup. It was depressing and spent half the trip shopping for essentials. It isn’t that easy to find deodorant in Rome believe it or not. Never the less we had a great time.

Rome is the most beautiful city I've been to. The sites and the buildings are amazing. The food is absolutely  gorgeous. I love Italian food. So I was in my oils. I was in awe as I walked around St Peters Square  Its a must see even if your not religious. Rome holds so much history, its very fascinating  I would love to go back one day. Maybe this time in the summer, where you could go around eating their delicious ice cream all day lol.

Hotel I stayed in was called, The Memphis Hotel, which I highly recommend. Its in a great location and the staff and so friendly and helpful. A restaurant I would recommend is called That's Amour, which has amazing food and a great Italian atmosphere.
