Collection 2000 Pink Shock Lipstick

I first saw this on Coleyyyful’s blog, which you should all check out, its a great blog. Anyway's she claimed it was a dupe for Mac Candy Yum Yum, which I believe was part of a limited edition collection. If there is ever a dupe for mac I love to get it as Mac lipsticks are €17.50 here, so a cheaper alternative is great. The swatches she provided were literally identical. I knew I had to have it.
So I popped down to Boots and picked it up, I didn’t even swatch it, I knew I would love it and I sure do. I have had collection 2000 Lasting Colour Lipsticks before and I was happy withe the formula. So I knew it would love this lipstick.

It truly is a gorgeous colour, I go through phrases where I love bright in your face lipsticks, somedays I think the brighter the better, other days I love nude lipsticks, However if this lipstick is lightly applied it can be worn for those days you want a less noticeable look.

The Lowdown
The texture of this lipstick is very creamy, however I find after a hour on the lips the lipstick turns matte, It does not dry your lips out thou when It turns matte, which is good. I have very dry lips so I tend to stay away from Matte Lipsticks cause they just emphasise the dryness however this still provides moisture even when its is sunk into the lips.

Staying Power is  average, for a drugstore lipstick, it last a good 3- 4 hours which I feel is pretty average. Everyone always need to reapply lipstick anyway. So that does not bother me.

Pigmentation wise it is very good. Its a very bright, almost Barbie pink. But I love that look.
If you are a fan of bright pink lipsticks, I recommend checking this out, also if Mac Candy Yum Yum is a fave of yours and You cannot get it anymore, its a good excuse to pick it up. For €5.45 you cant really go wrong.

Collection 2000 Lasting Colour Lipstick In Pink Shock, can be bought in boots for €5.45 or £2.99
