Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer

After searching online for a good drugstore concealer I came across good reviews on the Soap & Glory Kick Ass concealer, so I thought why not give it a whirl. I went into boots and was delighted to find it on offer for €10.00 instead of its usual price of €14.99. I picked up the shade light.
The kit comes with two concealers one for under eyes which is a salmon colour and a concealer for blemishes and redness or whatever you need to cover. It also comes with a powder and puff to set the concealer in place.

Upon first using it I found it pretty amazing, it glided on lovely and covered up my mere dark areas underneath my eyes. I then applied it a few weeks later when my eyes were looking worse for wear, due to lack of sleeping and stress and it didn't cover very well at all. I found it didn't do anything for my eyes.
I used it then on my mum as she suffers from dark circles and it did a good job of covering them so I am really unsure about what I think about it. Maybe I have something going on with the skin under my eyes or it does not suit my skin. I have oily skin so maybe it doesn't suit oily skin I really don't know.

I do think it has some pros thou, I do love the fact it has a powder, I actually use the powder to set my blemishes after I've applied concealer, which is great. The concealer for blemishes is a little drying but it works well on blemishes that are not dry or are maybe under the skin. It is quite thick and creamy so it covers well.

So there you go a very mixed review on this concealer, I've had it for 2 months now and I've held off doing a review as I wanted to test it out for a good while. Yet I'm still on the fence. I wouldn't rush out and buy it yet.
Have you tried this concealer?

  1. Being a retailer I have kept this concealer in my store. And I suggest this for some of customer instead of a body soap. I haven't got any negative words from them.

Thanks For Commenting xx
