Lancome L'ABSOLU DÉSIR A/W Collection Lipsticks

Today we are talking about some Lancóme lipsticks from their latest A/W collection called L'Absolu Desir, the range is inspired by Parisian chic. Its sleek packaging and its gorgeous design gives this lipsticks the ultimate class and elegance.

I have the shades Prune Désir which is a deep rich plum shade, which actually goes on a lot lighter and glossier than how it looks in the bullet. You may think it looks way too dark in the tube but once on, it is this gorgeous wine plum that actually looks rather flattering. A perfect shade for autumn, teamed up with a soft smokey brown and orangy eye this lipstick would look stunning. The other shade I have is Caprice which is a classic bright red with a slight orange undertone. This one is bright and makes your teeth look super white, which is always nice. Caprice is one of Lancóme's best selling shades. Prune Désire is a new shade to the collection.

These lipsticks are super pigmented, very hydrating and glossy. Usually I find dark shades such as the plum shade to look very drying but Lancóme have given them a creamy texture that is really gorgeous and comfortable to wear, they also are easy to apply due to its creamy texture. The super pigmentation gives you a great wear time because as they fade they still look good.

If the content of the tube wasn't enough to impress you, then the packaging sure will. The sleek black and silver packaging with the iconic Eiffel Tower and beautiful roses engraved in it, will give your lipstick collection a touch of elegance. Another thing that really impressed me was the magnetic clasp, that shuts the lipstick closed, Whats that saying, 'Little things, little minds' well I was impressed.

Overall two gorgeous lipsticks from a really stunning collection (the blush in this collection looks like heaven) The creamy texture, the long wear time and the unbelievable pretty packaging, I got to say girls these are not to be missed.

The L'Absolu Désir Collection is available September 2013 and the lipsticks are €26/£22/ $30
