The Skincare Tag

So my lovely friend Jess from Lovely Jubbly blog tagged me to do the Skincare Tag. I am obsessed with all things skincare so I jumped on the chance to do this tag. So lets get cracking.

Describe your skincare routine in 5 words?
mixed, gentle, kind of strict, consistent, acne prone.

What's your skin type?
My skin is oily combination, I get very oily most days and other days my skin can feel very dry and look dull. I am prone to acne and break out to almost everything so I have to be very strict on what I use.

What's your favourite skincare product?
My favourite product is Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser, this stuff has literally changed my life. I'm not joking, it removes all your makeup and leaves your skin so soft. It has helped my acne prone skin so much.

Top Blemish Zapper?
Without a doubt it has to be good old fashioned Sudocream. I layer this over my blemishes, leave it sink into my skin all day and bang the spot is gone (cheesy Barry Scott quote) I often have days where I wonder around the house covered in Sudocrem. I don't care who sees me.

Face Wipes Yay Or Nay?
A big big big NAY. I hate them. When I was in makeup collage we learned all about makeup wipes and how they just push the makeup further into the skin, so in actual fact you are not even taking your makeup off probably. Since that day I have not used a face wipe. I also find them too harsh on my skin, even the gentle ones.

Toner Yay or Nay?
I'm not against them, but I never use one. I have them in my kit, but I never use them on myself.

High End Skincare or High End Makeup?
This one is a tough one as I love my little luxury makeup items. However I do feel that since I have been spending a little bit more on skincare lately, I have noticed the difference in terms of acne prone skincare. Its always been my dream or goal to have perfect clear skin so I would have to say high end skincare to get make that dream a reality.

Whats the most unusual skincare product you have tried?
I actually can't think of anything strange. I once used a face mask that I got off the internet, it was a diy recipe and it was a vinegar based recipe, Oh my god, it stunk and left my skin red for 2 days. I looked like I had come out of a burning building.

You're in a French pharmacy and can only pick one item-what is it?
Well when I went to France, I went straight to the Bioderma section but now I have discovered that I would have to say I would go and buy the most amazing moisturizer ever Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre.

Tell us your top skincare tip?
Drink lots of water, stick to a skincare rountine to actually see results and never never never sleep in your makeup.

So that's it. Here are the people I tag.

Sarah from Adoreabubbles
Orla from Makeup Over Mind
Laura From Fitz N Bitz
