results of touche eclat concealer

YSL Touche Eclat has been a cult product for years in the beauty world, however I had never tired it until recently. All I knew about it was people complained it didn't conceal dark circles and then people corrected those people saying it was a highlighter not a concealer. Long story short its a product that seems to be very raved about. I was recently sent one to try and was excited to see what all the fuss was about.

I never suffered from dark circles or 'eye bags' ever until recently. I don't sleep that well, I have late nights and it takes effect on your face. I was happy to put this product to the test to see if it brightened my dull under eye area up. I got the shade 2.5 which I initially thought would be too dark but it turns out its a perfect match. I believe this product comes in 10 shades and it would be good if you tested them out at a YSL stand before you hand over your money.

In terms of the product itself. I really like it. Granted it doesn't cover the dark circles, which I knew it wouldn't but it instantly brightens up the area and makes me look more awake. It is light reflecting so it gives the face a radiant, youthful look which lets face it whatever age we are, we like to look youthful. It also adds a luminosity to you skin that foundation alone might not be able to give depending on what foundation you are using that is. I also like that its not restricted to your eye area, of course you wouldn't place over blemishes but running it under your brow bone, cupids bow and down the center of your nose, gives your skin a highlighted illuminating look.

One thing I don't like about this product and this could just be my skin, but I do find it creases underneath my eyes a little. I do have to powder under there to correct this which sometimes helps but sometimes it doesn't but most of concealer crease on me so it may just be my skin.

Overall I really do like Touche Eclat, I can easily see why it is a cult fave. Its a lightweight highlighter that adds a youthful brightening effect to your skin with very little effort. I highly recommend and if you are blessed with great skin I think this alone on you skin would look gorgeous.

Have you tried YSL Touche Eclat? What are you thoughts?

*disclaimer, this product was sent to me for review purposes, this however does not change my opinion of the product, all my reviews are 100% honest*
