Elf Runaway Lipstick

Swatch Of Elf Runaway lipstick on the lips

I read on a blog a few weeks back that Elf Runaway Pink was an exact dupe for Mac Creme Cup. Having wanted Mac Creme Cup for the longest time, I took the opportunity in the Cardiff Elf Store to buy a dupe for a fraction of the price of course.

So how do I find it you ask, well I love it. This is a very easy to wear, everyday go to lipstick. It looks super natural on the lips without being too in your face but gives you enough colour to make your lips look like they are wearing something. To me the colour is a brown pink shade, its essentially pink with a brown undertone, giving it a more nuder effect. Which is actually rather flattering. In terms of texture its really creamy and feels lovely on the lips, very nourishing and not drying at all.  It does have a glossy finish to it and I did find when you apply it if your lips are at all dry, then you will need to work it in, but once on you will have no problem.

As for wear time, it last a good 2 hours without needing to to touch it up, which is pretty standard for lipsticks. When it comes to eating and drinking very few stay on. However as it wears off it doesn't leave that dreaded white rim that looks far from flattering.

Overall I really like Runaway Pink, is it a Mac Dupe? I'm not sure, if you own Creme Cup then maybe you could let us know below, but for me it will do and I don't feel the need to spend €18 on a lipstick when I can get a pretty similar one for €6.01, if you think about it, the money you save the more makeup you can buy, which is always a good thing girls.

Have you tried Elf Runaway Pink
