Best Of Drugstore Concealers

Best Of Drugstore Concealers

I have been meaning to  write a 'best' of drugstore concealers for some time. I am a little bit of a concealer junkie. I am constantly looking for one that covers everything and although I have found one, it does have a high end price tag. So I thought why not share some of my top budget concealers for people who don't like to spend €26 on one item.

Kicking it all off is Soap & Glory Kick Ass, this is a two in one concealer, it has a salmon side for correcting dark, blue under eye circles and the other yellow toned side for correcting blemishes. It also comes with a setting powder at the top and that powder is pretty amazing, I sometimes like to dust it all over my face. When I first got this concealer, I hated it, I found it drying but after constant use it seemed to loosen up and became easier to blend. I won't say this is full coverage but it does hide those pesky blemishes well and it does a pretty good job of correcting dark circles.

Next is one aimed for the eye area. Maybelline's Anti Age Eraser Eye concealer, was something I wanted for ages and when I got my hands on it I fell in love. Its so creamy, goes on like a dream and blends so well. It does have a sponge attached to the top, so maybe not the most hygiene, but I think the space can be cleaned. I only ever use this on my eyes and I feel it gives them enough coverage while still looking like skin is skin, the only downside is the limited shade selection.

Moving onto my cult fave, this has been in my collection way before it became such a hyped up product. Collection Lasting Perfection concealer is the bomb, this is probably my most repurchased makeup item ever. Its great for blemish as it is heavy coverage and it lasts all day but for under the eyes I do find this way to cakey, so if you on the look out for a concealer to cover acne or marks this is your guy. One downside again is the shade selection in fact its pretty horrific if I'm honest.

Lastly is another product from Maybelline, this is the Dream Lumi Touch concealer, in a pen like tube to resemble YSL Touche Eclat. However it does have a bit more coverage than YSL but YSL is essentially a highlighter. The dream lumi touch is great for the under eye area, to cover minor eye problems and to brighten the area. I really love this one in the summer time as its very light on the skin.

So there are my top drugstore concealers. I would love to know what concealers you love.
