Eyebrows! Something that makes or breaks the face, getting them right is essential. With so many products on the market, its hard to choose which one is right for you, but after seeing so many reviews of the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade, I was super excited to try it and so took off on the interweb to track it down. After searching I found that Cult Beauty stock it but I was put on a wishlist, I think it was at that moment when I signed up for a wishlist for a eyebrow product I realised I really do have a makeup addiction. 1 week and €24 later its mine.

Anastasia are famous for their brow products, with brow wizz being one of their cult products, I was very excited to try their new addition DipBrow Promade. The product itself is a creamy/waxy consistency. I use an angled brow brush to apply it and I apply it in stages, the main reason for this is because it is super duper pigmented, if you dip your brush in and go crazy with the brush, you may end up with drag queen brows. The best tip I can give you is dip in your brush, apply a little at a time and don't re dip, because 9 times out of 10 you really won't need to. You do have to work rather quick with this product as it sets super quick, so doing it in stages is necessary.

I picked this up in Dark Brown. I have pretty dark brows but I usually don't like to make them darker, so I really was worried that dark brown would be too dark but luckily enough it worked out fine and dark brown was a perfect match. I was going to get chocolate brown but read it is rather red, so I avoided that one like the plague. Dark Brown, is a little ashy but it seems to blend into my natural brow colour nicely.

One thing that makes this product outstanding is the staying power, it literally lasts all day, heck I even reckon if I feel asleep and woke the next morning, it would still be on. The only way to get it off is makeup remover. It's does not budge, so if your one who has to literally draw on pieces of your brows on, then this is for you because it won't leave the face until you want it to.

Overall I am really impressed with this product. It really is a phenomenal brow product. It stays on all day, goes on like a dream, with its creamy consistency a little goes a very long way and the shading is perfect for me. I really want to the brow wizz now to see how they compare. Any excuse to go shopping.

  1. Looks lovely and natural, I can't stand those fake red/brown brow shades that look really strange and obvious!

  2. I really wanted to get this but ended up going with the Brow Wiz as it was out of stock at the time, and I wanted to get the 15% off deal that they had on! I do like the Brow Wiz but I feel like I'm going to run through it in no time..! x
