With Mothers Day just a few days away, I thought I would put together a little gift guide for you. There is something here for every budget and just to keep in mind, its not about how much you spend, its about telling your mum how much you love and apperciate her, so if your budget it tight this Mother's Day offer to do the house work, make a cake or even make a handmade spa voucher and treat your mum to a pamper night in your bedroom, get some candles, face masks and of course chocolates.
If you are one who likes to buy presents then lets get cracking with the gift guide. First up the old traditional one and that's flowers which is what my fake roses represent. A fresh bouquet of flowers can brighten anyone's day and a little heads up Lidl actually do some amazing flowers and I have found them to last the longest . Next is a box of chocolates, everyone likes chocolate, except the poor soles like me who cant eat dairy but if you know your mum likes choccie than grab her a box. I love how these Lindt ones look so pretty and girly.
Moving on to makeup and beauty. First up why not help your mum get into the spring colours. Buy her some pastel, spring appropriate nail polishes. my top picks are Essie Mint Candy Apple, Butter London Fruit Machine and Barry M Gelly Shine In Dragonfruit. Another gift is the Clarins Essential Palette, this was my top pick last year and I think any makeup obsessed mum will love this as she can wear it pretty much any day and Clarins makeup is elegant.
If you know your mum likes to smell nice (who doesn't) opt for a perfume, my top pick is Lancome La Vie Est Belle, its a pretty elegant scent that I'm sure your mum will love. Or if you mum appreciates the luxury of a body oil, then Ren Morrocan Rose Oil is the way to go. This scream luxury and smells like Turkish Delight.
So there are my picks for this Mothers Day. Hope everyone's Mum has a great Mothers Day.
