ren rose body oil

I usually stay away from anything that makes my skin any more oiler that it already is, however these body oils seem to be all the rage at the moment, so I was excited to try one from my favourite skincare brand REN.

The Moroccan Rose Otto Body Oil   is a luxurious product, from just the packaging alone it looks expensive and something you might treat yourself to, after you have been good all week haha. A heavy glass jar with a pretty design on the front, it looks great on the dressing table and feels great on the skin.

The product itself if very nice indeed. First up we have to talk about the smell. I mean if there was such thing as smothering Turkish delight all over your body then this is exactly how this oil smells. You can't help but fall in love with the smell, unless you hate that rosey scent, but the smell lingers on your skin and in fact makes the whole room smell pretty darn great. As an oily product you would expect it to leave you feeling greasy and pretty much ready to popped into the oven, but this sinks into your skin leaving no trace of an oily residue and leaves your skin so soft and subtle. It also leaves the skin looking plumper, healthy and defiantly smoother.

I think this oil would be prefect for people who tend to suffer from dry skin on the body or people who just want to have a calming relaxing experience. It defiantly calms and relaxes you as you apply it and would work great as a massage oil.

Overall I am super impressed and for someone who is pretty lazy when it comes to moisturising my skin, I can't help but apply this, for the smell and they way it makes your skin feel. It is pricey at €40, it seems a little excessive and I doubt I would run out and buy it any time soon when its used up, for the price tag alone. I do however recommend if you are feeling the urge to splurge on a luxury body oil.

Have you tried this? What are your fave body oils?

You can pick this up from Cloud 10 Beauty , Ren Skincare online or Sephora.
Prices: €40/£34/$65
