What's better than a bright pink lipstick??? How about a bright pink lipstick that stays around all day until you have to physically remove it? Well this beaut from Bourjois does exactly that.
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in Pink Pong, is probably the best lipstick I have ever tried. Being a lipaholic (its a real disease) I have tried and tested many lip products, matte, glossy, liquid to matte formula you name it, but nothing comes close to this.
This lipstick is so intensely pigmented, you literally only need a small smudge on your lips and your good to go. They also apply really well as they have a lovely soft, smooth texture, you could almost say velvet texture as the name suggests. Now these lipsticks go on glossy and like a smooth lipstick but they dry to a matte finish. You do however have some time before they set, so any touch ups etc is do able as they take about 10 minutes to set. However once set they are going nowhere. I am not even exaggerating here that this lipstick lasts pretty much all day even with drinking and eating, yes it fades ever so slightly but it still look pretty darn good 8 hours in.
The collection at the moment has 6 shades, ranging from red, peach, coral and pinks. So there is something there for everyone. I have the shade Pink Pong, which is an extremely in your face pink. Which I adore. I think the brighter the better. This pink is so gorgeous, I think it would suit most skin tones as it seems to look different on everyone. I also think it would make an summer essential lip product as it screams sunshine and cocktails on the beach. Its just so prefect.
Overall I am so impressed with this lipstick. I highly recommend checking them out. Being from Bourjois they are so affordable, however I think they defiantly have a more higher end look and feel to them so they are defiantly worth picking up.
Have you tried the Bourjois Velvet Lipsticks yet? Are you a fan of pink lips?
