There is nothing I love more than a good old fashioned pamper evening. Finding the time to unwind and make it all about yourself is important not only for your skin but for your mind and soul. So I thought I would show you how I do a pamper night to maybe give you all some ideas.
First off I always light a candle, its soothes me and makes me feel all cosy and warm and sometimes although it might sound strange but staring at a flame flicker is super relaxing. This one I have is a new candle on the Market from a brand called Root Candles* and this one in particular is called Energize, it has rosemary and eucalyptus aroma making the room smell amazing and makes you feel super relaxed. Next thing I do is make a cup of tea, I drink spearmint tea. You could also make a yummy hot chocolate if you prefer.
Obviously you can't have a pamper night without a face mask. The one I reach for the most is Super Facialist By Una Brennan in Tea Flower Deep Clean. This is a mud mask which cleans cleans out the pores, soothes the skin and leaves it feeling rejuvenated and super soft. Its also amazing for acne prone skin aswell. Pamper evenings are also great time to take off old nail polish and apply a new colour. I am using Primarks Nail Polish remover, this one is new to me, its basically a dupe of the Bourjois 1 Second one and its a pretty close dupe aswell. Not bad for €2. As its summer I opt for a bright shade and I'm using Models Own Sun Hat. Perfect summer shade. To unwind and while I let my face mask set I read a magazine, its uaully Glamour or Stellar depending on what one I picked up.
Lastly after I have removed the mask, I apply NYR Sleep Concentrate Serum, this is perfect to pop on before bed as its relaxes you and makes you have a perfect night sleep.
So there are my pamper night essentials. How do you unwind? How often do you have pamper nights?
