Kings Of Leon- Marlay Park
So Friday, I headed up to Dublin to see Kings Of Leon in Marlay Park. I have been a huge fan of KOL for years and have desperately wanted to see them live. They were supported by Kodaline which I was so excited to see aswell. It was an epic night but of course it didn't go without a few hiccups.

First off alerts all over the place annouce that travellng to the park needed to be pre booked as the special buses were sold out. Literally panic set in, knowing how far Marlay Park is from the city centre, we rushed down to the buses to see if we could get the spare sets of seats they had left. We did eventually get tickets but was told we could get anytime bus....so were they really sold out? Doubt it.

So we left at 6 and that was the biggest mistake ever, the bus should have taken 40 mins tops but it took 1hr and 45 mins. I mean what the hell. Traffic was horrendous. So as Kodaline came on at 7 we pretty much missed them. I think everyone was peed'ed off by it as everyone was moaning. It was disappointing that we only got to see like 15 mins of Kodaline. However I did get to hear my fave song, 'All I Want'.

Luckily enough KOL came on stage on time and played for just over 2 hours which is amazing, if you go to concerts regularly, your lucky to get an 1hr20mins, so the length of the show was insane. The setlist was incredible playing old songs and new songs and of course their classics like Sex On Fire, Use Somebody etc. It did rain all night and it was the type of rain you could tolerate, but when Use Somebody came on it literally belted down, it was literally dripping down from my eyes, crazy rain! The concert ended on a high as the played us off with Sex Of Fire. It was a night to remember. I have to say they are one of the best bands I have ever seen live. It was worth getting absolutely saturated. I did get some strange looks as I walked through O Connell Street and into the hotel. I think they thought I had just been rescued from the river. I was soaked, hair dripping and shoes that looked like I had got stuck in the mud, however I didn't give a shit as I had a great night and cannot wait to see them again.

Are you a KOL fan? Have you any concerts planned this year?
