It literally feels like yesterday I was typing out my July Faves, seriously where the heck is this year going?Christmas is upon us, you know its happening when X Factor returns to our screens...I am not even going to bore you with a rant about that programme haha. We are here to talk beauty. So lets take a look at my August Faves!
I have wore the least amount of makeup this month, I was in Barcelona towards the end of the month and that was probably the only time I actually did a whole face of makeup. So I'll start with base products and my under eye circles have been loving Bourjois CC Cream. This is literally the most lightweight, brightening and long lasting concealer I own for the under eye area. 100% perfection and I highly recommend checking it out. Next for base is NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat powder foundation. I have been using this as a finishing powder as its too little coverage for a foundation but it makes an awesome setting powder. Its locks makeup in place, keeps oil at bay and leaves the skin looking flawless. It can also be used wet for a fuller coverage look but I have yet to try it that way. I will keep you informed.
Next is a eyeshadow that I have literally fallen in love with. I didn't think it was possible to love a shadow so much. Mac Woodwinked is by far the most perfect shadow in the entire world.....so dramatic I know. However I fecking love this shadow. Its the perfect one shadow look, just by sweeping over the eye and blending out you get a look that looks like its been created with numerous shadows and it looks pretty darn amazing on paler skin. I cannot recommend this one enough. I also did a tutorial with it this week which I will link here. Lastly I have been loving NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu. I know what your thinking, I thought you hated gloss Lauren, well I still do but these are on another level. I just love them, buttery, non sticky this shade is so pretty and perfect for everyday and is my all time fave nude at the moment that is. I think everyone should own this one.
So there is my quick August faves.
What have you been loving this month? What shades would you recommend in the NYX butter glosses?
