You can always rely on Revlon to deliver a quality lip product and so when I saw all the american youtubers using these moisture stains I have to say I was excited and wanted one in my life asap. Couple of weeks later they hit Irish shores and I am in love.
I think I swatched around 5-6 shades and I learnt this, they do not apply as bright as they swatch. Cannes Crush swatches so neon coral that the child in me fell in love instantly, got it home and it was a lot lighter on the lips but non the less a really pretty colour. I would describe this colour a grapefruit coral...(the inside of a grapefruit is where I'm going with this description)
So with my discovery aside lets get into the nitty gritty of the review. These moisture stains are very strange, the go on like a gloss, dry matte then turn into a balmy/creamy texture then they stain the lips. Its like a whole lot of lip action. It is very strange. However I really like them. They are easy to wear, fade off nicely without leaving any lipstick rim around the mouth and they last a long time so they are what I would call a fuss free lip product. In terms of pigmentation I really think it depends on the colour you buy, I swatched a few that looked bright in store and once on the hand looked very weak so if your after a bright shade you have to go far up the shade scale. That maybe the only fault I can find with these stains.
Overall a really nice lip product that I can see myself buying more of. As I mention 20 times a week I hate gloss but these are not really lip gloss as such so if that is putting you off, don't let it. Think of them as liquid lipsticks that are easy to wear, non sticky and long lasting. I would recommend them to anyone really including people who suffer with dry lips, they didn't seem to emphasise mine.
