I usually don't buy much from Benefit as I usually feel they are a little over priced. I do however splurge on the odd blush now and then from them and when I saw the blush set as part of their holiday collection, I knew I had to own it.
Cheeky Sweet Spot is a Christmas themed tin designed to look like the ultimate candy cane land, for some reason it reminds me of Buddy The Elf...no idea why. Inside the tin you get 5 Blushes, 1 Bronzer, a decent sample of the Watts Up highlighter and a brush. The blush sizes are a good size, granted they are not full size, I still feel you get enough to last you a good while before you would need to run out any buy a full size. Here is the breakdown of the blushes.
Dandelion: a soft peachy pink shade with the tiniest hint of shimmer. This didn't really show up on my skintone. No matter how much I tried. However it does have the potential to be such a pretty blush.
Bella Bamba: a bright intense pink with gold shimmer. Very similar to Nars Orgasm however a lot softer in the glitter department and a little more pinker. I have this in full size and this one seems a little different in shade. This shade is being discontinued so grab it while you can.
Sugerbomb: a pinky peach shade with a very subtle soft gold glisten. This makes a perfect highlighter its super natural and also looks pretty paired over the top of any other blush.
Hoola: a yellow toned brown bronzer that has a 100% matte finish. Perfect for contouring or adding a little colour to the skin. A very popular bronzer in the beauty community.
Coralista: a pink coral shade that gives you a instant summer look. This is probably my fave of the bunch. Its completely new to me and I can see why people love it so much.
Rockateur: a rose gold blush but a little on the brown side of rose gold if that makes sense. Either way its a gorgeous blush and it feels nice to apply. I think its more finely milled than the other blushes.
Watts Up Highlighter: a champagne cream highlighter that gives you instant glowy cheeks. I love this as it applies nicely over foundation without interfering with it.
So there is what the box contains now is it a set worth picking up? In one word YES! Lets face it, its a complete bargain. You get 6 box powders for the price of 1 box blush. I know they aren't full sized but they are a very decent size. I think the set is great for anyone who wants an introduction to Benefit as a brand or is a general lover of blush. I think it makes a great Christmas present for any ladies in your life or yourself...as you do. One thing to note is the packaging, you might be thinking its bulky but in fact its no bigger than a iPad mini and isn't that deep either. However you can depot the blushes easily and pop them into a Z Palette. So don't let the packaging turn you off. Yes its not travel friendly but its super cute. So we will forgive it for that. Overall a really good quality blush palette for under €50 that I think everyone needs in their life.
