Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo

Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo

I am obsessed with dry shampoo. To me its the best thing ever invented. I go through so many brands of this stuff and I do have my favourites. I recently got the chance to try out the new Herbal Essences* version and although I am loyal to my Colab but I do like to try new ones.

The range comes in 3 types, One for colour, one for voulme and one that is marketed as Naked, which I guess could mean no white residue, who knows. Any how I have the one for Colour. Now I am very mean to Dry Shampoo, I mean I try a lot so if it doesn't pass the test I will never use it again.

I would say I like this product but I don't love it. It does the job, but I have had others that just do the job. Now as I have dark hair number one is dry shampoo cannot leave me looking grey. This doesn't have a white cast as such but it does make the hair appear dull, which I can live with. It smells nice to apply which is great and once applied it does like the hair a little stiff. I have found dry shampoos to do this but usually the volume ones do this so I was a little surprised that it did leave my hair slightly stiff. The number one reason why it doesn't get the love factor is that it at the ends of the day or even 6 hours in, my hair is so itchy and all I want to do is wash my hair.

It retails at €3.99 which isn't super cheap and for the money I would rather just buy my fave Colab dry shampoo for an extra €2 (has to be shipped from UK) Like I mentioned its an ok Dry Shampoo, it does absorb the oils, leaves the hair less greasy looking but it leaves my hair dull and very itchy at the end of the day, which I really dislike.

So overall an average dry shampoo, it does have its downfalls but it does leave the hair looking clean, but its not something I would run  out and repurchase.
