Maxfactor Creme Puff Blush Review & Swatches

Maxfactor Creme Puff Blush Review & Swatches
Maxfactor have been knocking it out of the park lately with their new releases and I was super excited when I saw they were releasing what could be potential dupes for the Hourglass Ambient lightening blushes. The Maxfactor Creme Puff Blushes* are lightweight baked blushes that are packed with pigment and give the skin a luminous, polished finish.

There are 6 shades in the range, each shade is suited to a certain skin tone, however after playing with them all they are pretty much universal shades, the only shade that is a little wow is the berry shade but I will talk about that in a minute. Also the lighter shades might not show as great on darker skin tones but they can be used to give the skin a light sheen or highlight.

The blushes are meant to highlight and sculpt and enhance your complexion. So do they do all that?.....yes! I am in love with these blushes. They are super pigmented even the lighter shades, and they last a really long time on the cheeks. They also are a lovely formula, they feel soft on the face and are easy to work with and are very build-able.

Are they hourglass dupes you ask? Well I only own one hourglass blush and I can tell you this, they are the closest thing in the drugstore you are going to find for the hourglass ambient lightening blushes. The only difference is I find the hourglass ones a little more finely milled  and the staying power is a little better with the hourglass but that is the only differences I can note. Now we have talked formula lets check out the shades.

Like I mentioned there are 6 shades in the range in total and I feel there is something here for everyone.

Nude Mauve: A sandy brown pink perfect for definition and adding over other shades.

So as you can see all shades are wearable and all can be used to add colour or definition to the cheeks. Overall I love them, they are the best blushes to come from the Drugstore in a really long time and I can't recommend them enough, with great quality, excellent colour pay off and great staying power these are a must have.

Are you tempted to pick them up?
