My Vanity Area- The Muji Drawers

My Vanity Area- The Muji Drawers

So for today's post I thought I would show you the result of finishing work early on a Monday and having nothing else to do than to make a vanity area. I did have a vanity area before but you know me the obsessive compulsive cleaning disorder of constantly rearranging my room, well that resulted in getting rid of my vanity area however after seeing a few people's videos on their perfectly arranged makeup storage I got a little inspire, so I thought I would show you my little area.
My Vanity Area- The Muji Drawers
I have a two drawer muji set. I picked them up in Dublin over a year ago. Muji is a little more expensive in the euro price than what you see on the UK website so if you plan on ordering a big order you may be better off ordering online. It could work out cheaper. So on top of the drawers I have a few daily essentials. Firstly there is my beauty blender. I love this, and I mean love. Best thing I ever bought. I then have my everyday face SPF, this one is from Murad and for me its the best fit for my oily acne prone skin. Then I have a few setting sprays, two are from Urban Decay one is the All Nighter and the other is the B6 spray (full review here) and the other 'setting' spray is Mac Fix Plus, this is more of a fixer spray as the name suggests, its great if you over apply and want to inject some dewiness back into the skin and then behind that I have my Mac Brush Cleaner in which I attached a spray lid as the other lid wastes way too much product. Lastly on top of the drawers is my eyelash curlers, these are the Kevin Aucoin ones and I adore them.

Then we have my makeup brushes on the side of the drawers. I do have a whole post showing you my most used makeup brushes. I placed them in a cleaned out candle jar. Simple design and I'm sure everyone in the beauty loving world does this. Except mine isn't a Diptyque candle cause I ain't that crazy to spend that much money on a candle....no offence.

Moving onto what is in the drawers, they mostly contain my everyday makeup and then some extra fave items that I like to use now and then. So the first drawer is mainly base and so I will list what's inside.
  • Maxfactor Face Finity All Day Primer
  • Revlon Colourstay Foundation
  • Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Infusion
  • Nars Laguna Bronzer
  • Mac MSF Natural
  • Cliniqu Blush Pop in Peach Pop
  • La Roche Posay Cicaplast Levres
  • Sleek Brow Artist
  • Nars Creamy Concealer
  • Bourjois 123 CC eye cream

Then we have the second drawer this contains all my lipsticks and eye products. So in this drawer we have:

  • Urban Decay Anti Aging Eyeshadow Primer
  • Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Liner
  • Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette
  • Maxfactor False lash Effect Mascara
  • Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
  • Urban Decay Sheer Lisptick in Streak
  • Urban Decay Sheer Lipstick In Liar
  • Mac Patessireie Lipstick
  • Mac Plumful Lipstick
  • Mac Mehr Lipstick
  • Mac Syrup Lipstick
  • Clinique Lip Pop In Punch Pop
  • Chanel Rouge Allure in Surprenante Lipstick
  • Chanel Coco Shine in Boy Lipstick
  • Mac Quad with the shades Shale, Cork, Sable & Satin Taupe ( I switch these around all the time)
  • Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise In Marie Antoinette (review)
So that is pretty much my little vanity area. Its not the biggest of areas but I have had a vanity table before and because the lighting is really strange in my room it never worked out for me so this little set up seems to fit better and me being a nerd that I am, I am sure it will all change again in a few weeks.

Be sure to tell me how you like to store you everyday makeup and if you tried any of the products mentioned.
