July has literally flown by and I know everyone says this really cliché sentence but where is this year going and to freak you all out its only 20 weeks till Santa arrives. However today I am going to talk about my most used and most loved items in the land of beauty.
First up we must talk about some makeup items. While in London in June I picked up a Clinique Cheek Pop Blush in the shade Peach Pop and I have literally not put this down over the last 5-6 weeks, I am obsessed. This blush is literally the creamiest, pigmented blush I have ever used. They literally glide across the skin and deliver such a gorgeous finish to the face. I am in love and highly recommend. Talking of extremely amazing products we must talk about the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise cream shadow in Marie Antoinette. I will admit I wasn't the biggest fan of cream shadows before I started using this mainly due to the fact that I have oily as hell lids and nothing stays put but oh lordy lord this shadow from CT is literally budge proof. I wore it recently to an Ed Sheeran Concert and I kid you not it lasted around 15 hours, yes it faded but 15 hours ladies and gentlemen, now that is pretty amazing. The shade is a gorgeous oyster silver almost bronze and you need this, that is all I have to say. I have a full review if you to give it a little read.
Now my next product wasn't exactly used to keep my makeup on due to heat because lets face it Ireland doesn't know what sunshine is, however I have been loving Urban Decay All Nighter as I have a had a few long hour days this last month and so needed my makeup to stay put and this does exactly that. I actually prefer this to the Deslick version even though I have oily skin I find the de slick one separates my makeup but the All Nighter is a life saver.
Lastly what would a monthly most loved be without some beauty tools. Well this month I picked up a beauty blender and my life has changed, well my makeup application side of my life has. This is literally the best invention ever. I have used other sponges in the past but none of them compare to the beauty blender. Its on another level. It gives the most flawless finish and most natural finish that is so easy and quick to use. This has saved so many running late situations in the morning and I love it. Lastly was a sneaky ebay purchase and its the Brush Egg, this little nifty number is basically one of those sigma makeup brush cleaner mitts but on a smaller scale and a lot cheaper. I seen this on Lipstain & Lace blog and I knew I had to get one. The product is great on foundation brushes as it gently pushes all the product out of the brush and the best part it was under €2. Need I say more.
So there are my most loved beauty items this month. I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know if you have tried any of these products or if anything here tickles your pickle. In non beauty favourite world I was addicted to True Detective last month (season 1) and it pains me to say it I got hooked on Pretty Little Liars again even though you have to admit the show is ridiculous, but its so addictive and I mean Caleb need I say more...worth watching alone just for him.
