'Oh were off to sunny Spain, Y Viva La Espana!!! Sorry I couldn't resist doing that. So I am off to Madrid for a few days this weekend and thought I show you all the make products I am bringing with me. I love looking at people's travel makeup as I feel I always overpack and that may be the case here but in my defence its a girly weekend and I plan on slapping it all on. If not why not huh.
So for base I am bringing my trusty sunscreen from Murad. I adore this one and have found nothing like it. It goes on creamy and doesn't drag on the skin which I find a lot of them do and then there are ones that dry matte and look gross for me this is a staple, it controls oil and stops me from burning. I have included a primer in the mix and after I took this picture I popped it into a little container as I was so heavy but the Maxfactor Face Finity is a must. Foundation wise I am sticking with my trusty Revlon Colourstay as it stays all day and is the only foundation that matches me at the moment and I refused to fake tan for this holiday as I didn't want to buy another shade...cheap skate I know. Concealer wise I am bringing Nars Creamy Concealer which is on its last legs and another concealer that might not last the weekend is Bourjois CC Eye Cream. I adore these two and thought I would use them up.
Moving onto Bronzer...you guessed it Nars Laguna, nothing else understand my skin needs. I am bringing two blushes and they are similar shades, don't ask but I tried to bring one and I felt like I needed the other one. So the ones I have are Hourglass Dim Infusuion and Clinique Peach Pop. I have also included a little mini highlighter and that's Benefit Watts Up, never tried it but thought I give it a go. As for eyes I have made up a little mac palette which includes, All That Glitters, Cork, Sable & Woodwinked. I have included 3 eye pencils aswell two are from Kiko and one is a blue one from YSL. I am bringing my fave mascara from Maxfactor and to keep all that eye makeup on I have a Urban Decay primer. You know me and brows and the lack of attention I give them well I am just going to be throwing on some Sleek Brow Stylist. Simples.
So that is my travel makeup bag. I have included a eye lash curler of course and tweezers and a Kiko eye pencil sharpener. I am also bringing a setting spray but it doesn't fit in this bag. So that's pretty much it. Let me know what products you always have to bring away with you in the comments.
If you have any suggestions as to what we should do in Madrid let me know. I will be back with a haul.
