The Autumn Makeup Edit

The Autumn Makeup Edit

'Autumn is here, falling leaves are here, the sky is kinda clear' brownies points if you got the reference there, but I did change the words so I will give you a few minutes to figure it out haha. Anyway today I thought I would put together a little Autumn edit and I created a little look using all the products mentioned. Autumn is my favourite time of the year, we all get to wear snuggly scarves, woolly jumpers and stylish boots oh and then there is the lighting of the fire....ah I just love it.

Usually as soon as Autumn hits I get out all the plum shades but today I thought I would include some red/ brown shades and of course a hint of plum, it be rude not to.So to kick it all off I have to inject some glow into my skin because as soon as the sun is gone my skin goes super dry looking so I love Botanics Radiance Balm All Bright, this is a base that you can add to your foundation like I do or you can use it as a 'primer' either way it leaves the skin glowing from within and the best part its super budget friendly. Now I do still love my Corals and Peaches but I like to go for Berrys when it comes to cheeks. I have opted to use Nars Deep Throat, not exactly berry but it has a slight berry tone to it and it gives the perfect amount of colour to the cheeks.

When it comes to eyes I love love love Mac Antiqued, if you don't own this shade you need to get to a Mac stand asap and pick it up. This shade is a beaut, its one of those shades that has almost a duo chrome effect to it and of course is perfect to use on its own for a red/ brown smokey eye and it makes green eyes pop. I also added a Kiko eye pencil for the waterline and these Glamourous eyeliners are amazing and again won't break the bank. I have switched mascaras just because and I have gone with the Maybelline Sensational, I will be honest this isn't mind blowing mascara but it holds a curl so its all good, that and my Maxfactor one has dried up (insert sad face).

Lastly is lip, my favourite part of any makeup. I have two options you can all out and wear Plumful from Mac like I have on in the photo or you can keep the attention more on the eyes and go for Syrup from Mac. I also really like Revlon Couture lipstick as a great dupe for Plumful...its just a little more pinker but its close enough.

So there you have it the Autumn Makeup Edit, who else is excited for the colder months I am so over Summer.....not that we had any but there is nothing worse than them days when you out cold then 20 minutes later you are boiling, at least you know where you are with Autumn... oh god, I have turned into a cranky old lady moaning about the weather. Also thank god all the butterflies will be gone in a few weeks, I cannot count how many near death experiences (slightly dramatic) I have had with them this year....I rather a room of spiders that one Butterfly.

Be sure to let me know you favourite Autumn makeup item and defiantly let me know your go to Autumn lip product.
