The Body Shop Christmas Collection

The Body Shop Christmas Collection
If any brand can nail a Christmas Collection then its The Body Shop. This year they have released 3 new scents to the line, Glazed Apple, Cranberry and Frosted Plum. I was sent some of the Frosted Plum range * along with some makeup items and I thought I let you know what's worth checking out and picking up.

First thing first ,the scent Frosted Plum is fruity with a sort of floral scent. At first I get a lemon scent but then it goes slightly more musky than lemon. I am the worst at describing scents so pop into a local store for safe measures. So first up from the plum range is a candle. This is placed in a pretty dainty box that gives it a luxurious feel. Priced at €17 its a little pricey but it does smell pretty incredible. The only downside I can see with this candle is the candle jar itself isn't very pretty in fact its plain. I would have liked a little label on the jar. Other than that once lit it scents the room with a fruity floral scent which lingers all night.

Next is the Shimmering Lotion, this is the most scented item of the bunch. I like to use this after a shower to fragrance and moisturise the body. If you are not a fan of shimmer avoid this as its very highly glittery but it does look pretty and would look great for the festive season. This product I really like and highly recommend. The scent stays on the skin for hours so instantly gets a thumbs up from me. This product retails for €13.95

Lastly from the frosted plum range is the Bath Frizzies. These smell incredible I am yet to try them but if they perform as good as the smell we have a winner. These are priced at €20.50

Then we have some makeup items. First is this glittery ,Christmas nail polish. Priced at €8.50 its a pretty top coat. A little expensive but is nice polish that can be worn alone but works better with a colour underneath.

The star of the makeup show is the quad in Grooving Gold. Its housed in a pretty golden cardboard box and contains 4 superwearble shades. Each shadow is creamy, pigmented and very easy to blend. I love the pop of gold shade in this palette. Fans of plum and copper shades will love this palette and anyone with hazel or brown eyes should pick up this palette. Its a little pricey at €26.95 however the quality is there in the palette so you get what you pay for.

Also in the range sis a Shimmering Mist that retails for €14.50 of course no collection is complete without a body butter for €21.95 and a cute little gift set for €29.95.

Overall I really like this Christmas range from The Bodyshop. They never seem to disappoint, everything is high quality, perfectly scented and the would make some great Christmas Gifts. If I was shopping for gifts I would probably go for the gift set as I have seen it online and you get a good mixture of the range. I would probably get the Shimmering lotion and the candle as both are lovely products. I also would buy the eyeshadow palette as it is a good little palette for the festive season.

Have you tried any of these products? Do you buy people gifts from the Body Shop for Christmas?
