Hi everyone, today I have a different type of post for you. As you may or may not know at the beginning of the year I told myself I was going to set up my own Business in fact it was a cake business, this is something I have wanted to do for the longest time but always put it off due to being I guess scared. Well this year I thought I would bite the bullet. When I researched all the details online it got a little overwhelming, then I was contacted by NCC Learning and asked if I would like to do one of their online courses, I had a good look through them and found one that helps with starting your own business, I jumped at the chance of taking this opportunity.
I guess today's post is a just a little info on what NCC has to offer and how I am getting on with the course. I will start with the beginning, NCC are an online and paper course company that offer a range of courses and some are available to do from the comfort of your own home, the courses vary from Beauty Therapy, Childcare, Business related and even learn a language. I choose A Business Start Up course as I thought it was relevant for what I needed. I haven't finished the course yet however I must say it has been great being able to just log onto my account and do it at my own pace, but furthermore than that it has really helped me understand everything a bit more.
The course is broken down into categories such as market research, working with a team and how to write up a business plan. I tend to do one category every few days as I do find it hard to find time with it I love how I can take it at my own pace. At the end of each module you are asked to sit a little mini exam, I have enjoyed this as I know what I am learning and how much is going in.
I think this site is great for people who want to maybe change career of just want to learn more and don't have the time to go out and actually do an intense course. I think its great that you can do all this at your own pace and there is no pressure. I will of course do a more in-depth review of the course later on when I have completed it.
You can check out all the courses here? Let me know which one you would do?
