Makeup Bag Edit: March

Makeup Bag Edit: March
This year I vowed to switch up my makeup products monthly so I can get more out of the collection that I have. I often find myself stuck in a makeup rut, wearing the same products day in and day out and then other products in the drawers getting neglected. I haven't blogged in a little while and thought today I would show you what was in my March makeup bag. I might do one of these posts every month if you like them. Anyway longest intro ever lets get started.

The biggest thing I have changed this month is my base. I have opted for Mac strobe cream which my brother kindly bought me for my Birthday. I really like this product, it adds a lovely dewy finish to the skin and makes my not so great looking skin look at least 70% better haha. I either apply this before my foundation or mix into my foundation. This month my skin has been dry but once makeup is on it goes oily so I have been going to for a matte finish and L'oreal Infallible Matte has been doing the job nicely. Its not as drying as the Revlon Colourstay foundation and it gives a lovely airbrushed effect the only problem is I have to blend this right down the neck as its a tad bit too orange (pale girl problems.) I have also been trailing a new concealer the last few weeks this one is for the under eyes and I have to say I love it. The Barry M Light Reflecting concealer is perfect if you like your concealer lightweight and affordable

I have switched up my blush aswell this month I saw Orla from Makeup Over Mind rocking the Balm Frat Boy blush and I had to dig it out. It gives the cheeks the prettiest flush with its matte finish and creamy texture its defiantly one to pick up. I also have been contouring this month and I kinda am addicted, I have been using this little palette from Collection which is the perfect tone for pale skin, it did come with a highlight which was perfect but I dropped the palette and it didn't make it..... it was a sad moment. However if your looking for a contour with a cool tone and pale enough for NC15 even NC10 you have to check out Collection Contour Kit
Makeup Bag Edit: March

For my eyes I have been loving Mac PaintPot in Groundwork, I picked this up two weeks ago and I am addicted, it's the perfect everyday easy wear shadow and the best part it lasts all day without budging. For mascara I have been using Lancome Grandiose, I don't love this mascara but I wanted to get more use out of it. It does a great job at curling the lashes etc but with it not being waterproof the lashes drop within a few hours. It has been doing the job thou. For lips I have to admit I am loving the new Lancome Juicy Shakers, they are literately the most comfortable lip product to wear. The colour show is Melimelon and its such a gorgeous shade.  I will have a full review of this beaut up next week but I will say this they smell incredible, feel amazing on the lips and are a prefect combination of a lipgloss and a lip tint.

So there is my March Makeup Edit, let me know what makeup you have been loving and wearing this month. How often do you switch up your makeup bag?
