My 2017 Achievable Goals

It is that time of year again that we all sit down and think about what we want to do for the year and also think of the failed resolutions from the previous year. I will admit last year I failed big time on my 2016 goal quest but this year I have decided to set some more realistic goals and resolutions so I am hoping that in 2018 I can feel accomplished and not as guilty as I feel now.

I am going to start the year off by focusing on myself, it may sound a little self absorbed but it is important to look after yourself and so my first goal is to Get Healthy. I have been on so many diets that I literally have lost counts, it is always I will start Monday or when the chocolate in the house has gone but this year I am taking a new approach to it all. If you follow me on twitter you will know I moan a lot about getting sinus infections and a few weeks of a food diary would conclude that dairy is causing a lot of it so I have quit Dairy and being Celiac leaves me with a very strict diet so with a bit of luck this time I will get healthy. I also plan on working out at least 4 days a week I even bought an exercise bike....no stopping me now.

Another thing I would like to do this year is learn to speak Italian, I have  huge passion for Italy and being able to speak the language would be amazing, considering I am slowly making me way around the country. Which leads me to another goal and that is to go on a little Italian adventure this year, I plan on going to Florence then onto Naples.

I plan on growing my blog this year, I was very slack last year and I was super excited about my new blog name etc then I just fell out of love with it all but this year I am back in full swing with loads of beauty, lifestyle and baking posts so stay tuned.

Lastly I want to learn to drive this year, I have put this off for years as I have a  huge fear of getting behind a wheel but I am going to bite the bullet and just do it, so first I will need my theory which I am currently studying for and then 50 lessons (slight exaggeration) later I will be on the road. Now just need to find money for a car.

So there are my realistic goals, I mean I probably have a million more things I want to achieve but for now these are the ones I am aiming for. I do have plans to start my own baking business which is something I have wanted to do for such a long time but there are so many regulations that I am just taking it one step at a time and weighing out my options.

Let me know what goals you have this year and did you stick to your resolutions last year?
